At the traditional annual awards ceremony organized by the Serbian Association for Market Communications (UEPS – Association of Economic Promoters of Serbia), the Belgrade Philharmonic was awarded in two categories. The Belgrade Philharmonic’s event, marking its 101st birthday, received both silver and bronze awards in the Brand PR and BTL Event categories respectively. Jelena Milašinović, the Philharmonic’s PR Manager, accepted the awards at the ceremony held on December 26 at Dorćol Platz in Belgrade.

Reaffirming its commitment to continue to push the boundaries in its next century of existence, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra staged a remarkable musical performance on June 13, 2024, to celebrate both its 101st anniversary and the conclusion of a grand celebration of its centennial during the 23/24 season.

The event opened with a breathtaking performance by a wind trio of musical acrobats, ceremoniously playing fanfare from the top of the Silosi 10 meters above the ground. This symbolic gesture set the stage for an open-air photography exhibition showcasing the life of the Belgrade Philharmonic, including notable moments, international tours, and iconic campaigns from the Philharmonic history.

As part of the celebration, the Belgrade Philharmonic also presented a commemorative monograph authored by Asja Radonjić and Danica Maksimović, published in honor of the orchestra’s 100th anniversary.
