The Belgrade Philharmonic will be performing in the town of Bijeljina for the first time at a concert to be held at the “Stanišići” ethno-village on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Under Conductor Bruno Merse, the Belgrade Philharmonic will perform a program composed of the most beautiful pieces of classical music.

The Philharmonic will bring the audience in this part of Bosnia-Herzegovina into a festive mood with classical favorites such as Tchaikovsky’s Marche slave, Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmila Overture,” Brahms’s Hungarian Dance, and Dvorak’s Slavonic Dance. The program will also include the inevitable “Ohrid Legend” by Stevan Hristić, founder and first conductor of the Belgrade Philharmonic. On this occasion, the orchestra will present itself to the Bijeljina public together with internationally-known German conductor Bruno Merse.

The Belgrade Philharmonic’s concert is organized in collaboration with the Music Artists Association of Semberia and the City Administration.
