Applications for the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra Academy – Philcademy 3 are currently under way and will be open through 15 June. The Philcademy 3 will be held from 19 to 30 November, 2018 and is open to undergraduate students of music academies and schools from Serbia and the region, and to graduate students up to age 27. The Orchestra Academy offers professional training with mentors – musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic. The young musicians will take active part in the work process through section rehearsals and rehearsals of the entire orchestra, which will be crowned with a final concert to be directed by distinguished Slovene Conductor Uroš Lajovic.  For this year’s Philcademy, like the two previous ones, we have selected a repertoire in which the students will be able to work on numerous essentials of orchestra interpretation.

Auditions for the new candidates will be held in the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, on 26 and 27 June 2018, according to a schedule that will be announced at a later time. In case a candidate is prevented from attending the audition, they should send in their recorded material to the address of the Belgrade Philharmonic. Philcademy 1 and 2 students do not have to audition.
