The special recognition for the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra’s website was awarded by PC Press magazine in collaboration with the Serbian National Internet Domain Registry (RNIDS) to the BPO Director Ivan Tasovac at the Assembly of the City of Belgrade on Monday, 6 February. At the award ceremony, Chairman of the RNIDS Management Board Vojislav Rodić commended not only the website design and functionality, but also its interesting content and integrated orchestra communication.
The 20th edition of the annual PC Press Web Top 50 competition acknowledged the best online stuff in Serbia from among websites, mobile apps and social network appearances in the Serbian language. Thus the Belgrade Philharmonic also achieved success in the digital world with its web presentation.
The qualities that allowed the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra to contend for the special prize are “the attractively designed and regularly updated website, which includes information about the orchestra’s programmes, the possibility of online ticket booking, as well as blogs that illuminate our musical scene from various sides”.
Eager to provide best possible service to its clients, as well as to awaken interest among new ones, the Belgrade Philharmonic keeps enhancing its web presentation. The website was redesigned in 2016 with the idea to ensure both straightforwardness and attractive content. Towards the end of last year, the online ticket sale system was improved to enable proper functioning on all devices and platforms.
A well-organised website is a reflection of the business it represents, and the Belgrade Philharmonic is proud to have one of the best web presentations in Serbia, besides being a leader in the world of music!
