Semyon Antakov

Semyon Antakov’s recent and future engagements include Evgeny Onegin staged by Nacho Duato, Escamillo (Carmen), Georges Duval (The Lady of the Camellias), Doctor Falke (Die Fledermaus), Alfio (Cavalleria rusticana) with Mo Zangiev at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, Marcello (La Boheme) at the Royal House Muscat, Prince Yeletsky and Tomsky (Queen of Spades), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), Robert (Iolanta) at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) at the Novaya Opera Moscow. Title role in Eugene Onegin, Silvio (Pagliacci), Valentine (Faust), Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Prince Yeletsky (Queen of Spades) at the Rostov State Opera.

 

Among other roles are Valentine (Faust), Ping (Turandot), Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Silvio, Prologo, Tonio (Pagliacci), Marcello (La Bohème), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Andrey Bolkonsky (War and Peace), Georgio Germont (La Traviata) and Gryaznoy (The Tsar’s Bride).

 

Semyon graduated from the Rostov State Conservatory in 2022 and joined the Mikhailovsky Theatre company in the same year. He won the 2nd prize at IX Galina Vishnevskaya International
