Jelena Zlatarov-Marcetic

Jelena got her music education at Music Academy in Beograd, Serbia as performer, music educator and choir conductor, with M.A. as a concert pianist.
She has performed, as a pianist and a choir conductor, in Serbia, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Russia, USA and UK. As a pianist, Jelena recorded for radio and television, both as a soloist and a chamber musician.
As a conductor, she has performed many great choral works, e.g. Duke Ellington’s „Sacred Concert,“ Carl Orff’s „Carmina Burana,“ Mozart’s „Requiem,“ Rachmaninov’s „All-Night Vigil“, and others. In addition to that, she performs contemporary music written for choir by established contemporary composers, such as Eric Whitacre and Kim-Andre Arnesen, and also young Norwegian composers.
She works as a music and English educator at Nord-Østerdal High School and is the conductor for Tynset Mixed Choir and Alvdal Mixed Choir.
