Anna Malesza-Kutny

Anna Malesza-Kutny made her Glyndebourne Festival debut in July 2021, singing Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte accompanied by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. She also sang Fiordiligi at Opera na Zamku w Szczecin in 2020 and at Kammeroper München during the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 seasons. In spring 2022, she covered Fiordiligi at Opera Vlaanderen.

The Polish soprano made her debut at Oper Köln in Korngold’s Die tote Stadt in 2020 and later covered Contessa Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. During the 2021/2022 season, she returned to Oper Köln for a new production of Braunfels’ Die Vögel and will go on tour of South Korea in April 2022For her debut at Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin in 2019, Anna Malesza-Kutny created the part of Septette in the world premiere of Widmann’s Babylon.

Also in 2019, Anna Malesza-Kutny performed Hanna in Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor at Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. She made her operatic debut in 2015, singing Contessa Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro and appearing as a guest at Teatr Wielki w Poznaniu, singing Alcest in Mateja’s chamber opera for children Le Petit Nicolas et les copains. She has performed with several Polish opera companies, including Teatr Wielki w Poznaniu, Teatr Wielki-Opera Narodowa Warszawa and Opera na Zamku w Szczecin. Directors she has worked with include Tatjana Gürbaca, Andreas Kriegenburg, Nadja Loschky, David McVicar and Beka Savić.

Conductors Anna Malesza-Kutny has performed under include Thomas Guggeis, Riccardo Minasi, Simon Rattle, Julien Salemkour, Nabil Shehata and Christopher Ward. Orchestras she has appeared with include Göttinger Symphonieorchester, Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Orkiestra Symfoniczna Filharmonii Śląskiej, Sinfornia Varsovia Orchester, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Toruńska Orkiestra Symfoniczna. In November 2021, Anna Malesza-Kutny has sung Verdi’s Messa da Requiem for the first time and will sing Beethoven’s Sinfony N° 9 with Dortmund Philharmonic and Belgrad Philharmonic Orchestra in June 2022.
