Angelina Akhmedova’s future engagements include Mimi (La bohème), Liu (Turandot), Violetta (La traviata), title role Iolanta, Marfa (The Tsar’s Bride) and Antonia (Les Contes d’Hofmann) all at the Mariinsky Theatre. Recent engagements include Norina (Don Pasquale), Musetta (La bohème), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), The Princess of Untold Beauty (Kashchey the Immortal), Nannetta (Falstaff), title role Servilia, Freia (Das Rheingold), Louisa (Betrothal in a Monastery), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Debussy’s Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien and Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 at the Mariinsky Theatre, debut recital at New York’s St. Paul’s Chapel, soloist at the Herkulessaal Hall in München, Gala concert at the International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival and a US and Mexico tour with a broadcasted concert at Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City.
Angelina received Fourth Prize XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition, First Prize II International Rachmaninoff Vocal Competition, Fourth Prize XVIII International Vocal Competition ‘Bella Voce’, First Prize V All Uzbekistan N. Akhmedova Competition of Opera Singers, Third Prize Uzbek Republican Festival of Young Opera Singers.
A versatile Turkish soprano hailing from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has made waves in the opera world. As a guest soloist at the prestigious Mariinsky Theatre and a participant in renowned festivals such as the ‘Stars of the White Nights and the ‘Easter Festival’, she has earned accolades for her performances.
Since 2017, she has honed her craft as a Fellow at the Atkins Young Artists Program at Mariinsky, receiving guidance from esteemed coaches and mentors worldwide.
