Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture and Haydn’s Concerto No. 1 for Cello and Orchestra are two works that were premiered in Prague under completely different circumstances. The Don Giovanni Overture was written the night before the premiere, while the Cello Concerto had to wait exactly two centuries before anyone could hear it, when the lost score was found in the Prague National Museum.

The concert, conducted by Maestro Uroš Lajovic, will feature a young and very promising Dutch cellist, Harriet Krijgh. In the second part of the concert the Belgrade Philharmonic will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4.
