MADAMA BUTTERFLY
Conductor:
G. Puccini
Madama Butterfly, opera in three acts
A grandiose jubilee calls for a grandiose ending. Following our biggest success of the last season – the staging of Tosca, we can hardly wait to do it all over again. Still exploring Giacomo Puccini’s opus, we are presenting his opera Madam Butterfly, a story about tragic, unrequited love in two conflicting worlds, East and West, in the early 20th century. If you’ve missed Tosca, this is your second chance to witness the spectacle that closes this jubilee season. The conductor is Gabriel Feltz, and the director is Aleksandar Nikolic.
Ticket sales for the performance on June 9th, added due to the audience’s great interest in the grand finale of this concert season, will start on May 30th at our ticket office and through our website.
