H. Berlioz: Symphonie fantastique

Ravel’s Alborada del gracioso is a morning song of the jester and his darling, who have to part at dawn. Followed by the Piano concerto in G major from the same composer, which features some jazz elements, the two pieces comprise the first part of the evening’s concert, whereas the latter part is reserved for the most famous symphony dedicated to love – Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique.
