The series For Beginners will be concluded by famous British pianist Barry Douglas, who is now a regular guest of our orchestra. This time, he will be playing P. I. Tchaikovsky’s less commonly performed Concert Fantasy. Other pieces in the programme will be standard works of orchestral repertoire – Ludwig van Beethoven’s Prometheus and Richard Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben, directed by Vladimir Kulenović.
