Concert dedicated to the memory of Zoran Djindjić

We celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great French composer Maurice Ravel with celebrated pianist Mikhail Pletnev as the soloist in Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, alongside the young conductor, Maestro Felix Mildenberger. The program also features the charming Pavane by Ravel’s mentor Gabriel Fauré as well as Scriabin’s Symphony No. 2, a lush romantic work that hints at the modern musical language found in his later compositions.
