The first American tour of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra was concluded with huge success that writes a new page in the history of this institution. The American audiences rewarded the orchestra with several minutes of standing ovations after the concerts in Chicago’s Symphony Hall, Cleveland’s Severance Hall and Washington D.C.’s Strathmore Music Center, while the last concert in the heart of New York, at Carnegie Hall, was pure triumph.
The U.S. tour was a victory of zeal, perseverance and optimism, as great success and pride of the nation.
