The long-awaited news that will make many parents happy: new concerts for babies will get under way at the Belgrade Philharmonic Music Hall (Studentski trg 11) on September 8 to 10, at 11:00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Babies from zero to two years of age will enjoy a special program by the orchestra and the VooDoo piano duo under the baton of Maestro Ivan Marković.
The Belgrade Philharmonic Hall will once again be turned into a music playroom where babies will be able to romp around freely, this time to the sounds of the Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns. In one of the most popular works of children’s music literature, the infants will be able to hear how the Belgrade Philharmonic and pianists Vuk Božilović and Dušan Grozdanović evoke through music the swan, the cuckoo bird, the kangaroo, the elephant, chickens, roosters, and many other members of the animal world.
A limited number of tickets (500rsd) will be on sale from September 6 at the Belgrade Philharmonic’s box-office from 10:00 a.m. as well as online. One ticket is valid for one baby and one companion. For all three days, tickets for the 11:00 a.m. concerts will be on sale at the Studentski trg 11 box-office, while tickets for the 12:30 p.m. concerts will be available online.
In accordance with the epidemic and all health protection measures implemented by the Belgrade Philharmonic, attending parents must have one of the following: a certificate of complete vaccination; confirmation of a past COVID-19 infection; confirmation of a negative PCR test on COVID-19, (not older than 72 hours) or a rapid antigen test (not older than 48 hours).
