The Studio 6 Ensemble, dedicated to promoting new world trends on the domestic scene, will hold a concert at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. The musicians will present the early oeuvre of Mauricio Kagel, one of the most significant composers of the second half of the 20th century, notable for exploring the theatrical side of contemporary musical performance.

Maja Radovanlija (guitar), Milana Zarić (harp), Nenad Marković (trumpet), Boban Stošić (double bass), Aleksandar Radulović (percussion), and Ivan Marjanović (percussion) will perform solo and chamber works written between 1960 and 1970, such as Sonant for ensemble, Atem for one wind instrument, Pas de cinq for five percussionists, and Con voce for three silent performers.

In addition to playing, the musicians will also display acting skills, as they are also expected to verbally comment on and imitate their performance, walk with sticks or umbrellas, and other unusual demands. After the concert at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, the Studio 6 Ensemble will perform the same program at the Pancevo Cultural Center on November 28 at 8:00 p.m. and at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Vojvodina in Novi Sad on November 30.

Admission to the concerts is free.
