Tickets for the Belgrade Philharmonic’s event of the season, the concert with Nemanja Radulović, were sold out in less than 30 minutes, and in less than 4 minutes through our online sales system. Such a huge interest had been expected, with a line of several hundred meters being formed in front of the Belgrade Philharmonic’s ticket office as of 7:00 a.m.
Nemanja Radulović, a violin virtuoso of worldwide popularity and acclaim, will perform with the Belgrade Philharmonic at Kolarac Hall on February 4, under the baton of our permanent guest conductor, Maestro Daniel Raiskin. The performance of one of the most famous works of all time, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, will be the point where Radulović and Raiskin meet again. Maestro conducted Nemanja’s unforgettable performance with the Belgrade Philharmonic in 2016, followed by a joint visit to Moscow in the famous Tchaikovsky Hall on the occasion of the opening of the concert season of the Moscow Symphony Society.
All concerts with Nemanja Radulović are events that the Belgrade Philharmonic remembers for a long time. Last year, we performed together at the BEMUS Festival, when Nemanja played Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto. The Belgrade and Moscow performances from 2016 and the performance of Khachaturian’s concerto were preceded by the performance of Bruch’s Concerto No. 1, conducted by Maestro Eiji Oue.
