Gabriel Feltz and the Belgrade Philharmonic Are Together Again

The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and chief conductor Gabriel Feltz are together again and are preparing our first concerts in the new season. As for safety measures and keeping distance, the musicians are holding rehearsals for an “Evening of Mozart,” which will be held on three nights, at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, on September 17, 18, and 19, at 8:00 p.m.

Although the 20/21 season has been ready for a long time, the Belgrade Philharmonic has adapted to the current situation and prepared a completely new program for a downsized orchestra that will perform to a limited number of listeners, but only seemingly.

“We are already used to approaching problems as challenges and turning crises into opportunities. Since we have embraced this new dictionary of business wisdom, the Belgrade Philharmonic in the new season has been solving the Corona crisis in its own way and moving the game to another level, and absolutely everyone is welcome,” Director Ivan Tasovac said.

Concerts in the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall will be recorded and will be shown in various, unexpected places.

Through the end of the year, the orchestra will be conducted by Chief Conductor Gabriel Feltz and Permanent Guest Conductor Daniel Raiskin. The concerts are free and will be performed for our philharmonic subscribers. In addition to the orchestra season, we will feature many chamber ensembles, and the Belgrade Philharmonic will publish its entire repertoire on a monthly basis.
