The very first concert in the Belgrade Philharmonic’s new season is being devoted to – babies! For the first time ever, in the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall on Wednesday, September 5th, at 11:00 a.m., our orchestra will perform exclusively for toddlers of up to two years of age. At this free 30-minute concert, our orchestra and conductor Aleksandar Kojic will perform the Lullaby Symphony, thus introducing babies into the magical world of music through the most beautiful children’s lullabies, specially arranged for the orchestra.
Moms, dads, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, or nannies are invited to bring their kids to the Belgrade Philharmonic, which will be turned into a playroom where children will enjoy music freely. Since the number of seats is limited, free tickets will be available at the Philharmonic Hall’s box office (Studentski trg 11), as of Monday, September 3, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Concerts for babies are a novelty in the Belgrade Philharmonic’s 2018-19 season and subsequent get-togethers have been scheduled for January and April. In this way, the Belgrade Philharmonic aims to provide music education for children of all ages, since its concerts for preschool and schoolchildren are among our most popular and most sought-after programs.
