Owing to huge interest for the New Year concerts, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will sell a hundred tickets for each of its two concerts at Kolarac, on 28 and 29 December. Priced at RSD 200, these tickets will be available at the Kolarac ticket office one hour ahead of the performances, i.e. at 7pm.
This news will please many interested music lovers who were not among the quickest 1600, which is the capacity of the Kolarac Grand Hall for the two concert nights. In only three days, all tickets were sold out to people waiting in long queues at the BPO’s ticket office, as well as through the online ticket sale system.
The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra’s New Year concerts follow the global trends of performing film music live. I am very happy and proud to give such a huge audience the pleasure of listening to a concert of this type in their home city, supported by the immeasurable richness and dedication of the BPO members”, said Croatian conductor Alan Bjelinski.
Kolarac will be very tight for the large audience and the 107 orchestra members on the stage, who will be playing soundtrack music from Hollywood superhero blockbusters. The trend of standing tickets has been introduced by the BPO as of the season 2017/18 for all regular Friday night concerts at Kolarac, and this opportunity is now offered for the orchestra’s most in-demand New Year performances.
