Jelena Milašinović
Public Relations Manager
Jelena Milašinović graduated from the Piano Dept at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and earned her M.A. degree in Cultural Policy and Cultural Management (Interculturalism and Mediation in the Balkans) at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She acquired professional training in the field of public relations at the London School of Public Relations in Belgrade.
Jelena Milašinović has been PR manager of the Belgrade Philharmonic since 2013 and as its spokesperson she manages this organization’s overall communications and creates and implements communication strategies, development projects of social responsibility, and promotions of the Belgrade Philharmonic brand.
For the Belgrade Philharmonic’s first open-air concert she was awarded the Serbian Public Relations Association’s (DSOJ) 2018 “PRize” in the category of PR communications in integrated campaigns. At the next DSOJ competition, the Belgrade Philharmonic’s Baby Concerts won “Best Campaign” in two categories: for PR Brand and for Communication of Socially Responsible Projects. She won the Marketing Network’s “Kaktus Award” for best PR in 2019 and the Association of Market Communications of Serbia’s prize in two categories: PR Brand and Communication of a Socially Responsible Project.
She has participated at numerous professional conferences in the field of communications in creative industries, marketing and socially responsible business, including the Vivaldi CMO forum of the Mokrogorska School of Management, the AdCast webinar Marketing Network, the Creative Europe Forum, and conferences: Disrupt or be Disrupted; Audience Development in Classical Music; CSW Serbia – Pioneers of Social Responsibility, What Does Culture Do? Erste Bank. She was on the Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information’s committee for competitions in the field of contemporary art – music.
Her work experience includes cooperation with the Artlink organization. She was employed at the Academy of Arts as a piano teacher (2002- 2012). She wrote several case studies in the field of communication strategies, published in professional journals. Her texts have been published in Elevate magazine and Vreme weekly. She is a regular blogger for the Hemofarm Foundation.
Jelena Milašinović has been on the Management Board of the Heartefact Fund since 2019.
