The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra is once again organizing its most sough-after concerts for babies, taking place from April 15 to 17 at the Philharmonic Hall, with two performances each day at 11:00 and 12:30.
Under the baton of Vuk Wolkov-Popović, the orchestra will perform Beethoven’s First Symphony for its tiniest audience.
These admired baby concerts have sparked incredible interest of the audience for seven seasons now, with tickets selling out not in a matter of hours — but in minutes. The baby concerts have gone viral, drawing families from across the entire region to Belgrade, and even catching the attention of international media.
Aimed at infants from 0 to 2 years old, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra presents Beethoven’s youthful first symphonic work, showing just how naturally and joyfully even the youngest listeners can respond to classical music. Each concert lasts about 30 minutes, transforming the Philharmonic Hall into a musical playground where babies can move, play, and enjoy the music freely.
These concerts have seen many firsts — among the youngest audience members were little Čarna, just 23 days old, and Stefan, only 26 days old.
The next and final cycle of baby concerts for this season will be held from May 5 to 9. Tickets go on sale on April 28 at the box office of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra as well as online, starting from 10 a.m.
