Maxim Aksyonov

Russian tenor has made his operatic debut when he was 17 years old in one of most difficult roles of Russian repertoire Hermann (The Queen of Spades). Then started education in Novosibirsk State Conservatory at two departments: vocal and piano. During his studies became a soloist od Novosibirsk Musical theatre and then Novosibirsk State opera theatre. Since 2003 till 2005 worked as invited soloist of Kazan State opera house where performed the role of Nadir (“The Perl fishers”).
After ending of graduation in 2005 at Kazan State Conservatory was invited in Mariinsky State opera house by Valery Gergiev, where he works as an invited soloist nowadays.
In 2007 he became a winner of Russian prestigious theatrical prize “Golden mask” for the role of Hermann in “The Queen of spades”. At the same time he has made some international debuts at Latvian National Opera (Riga), Theater Basel (Switzerland) and Teatro Regio di Torino (Italy).
Between 2009-2016 performed various roles of tenor-spinto repertoire in different theatres as: Wiener Staatsoper (Austria), Theater an der Wien (Austria), Die Staatsoper Berlin (Germany), Deutsche oper Berlin (Germany), Deutsche oper am Rhein (Dusseldorf), Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (Italy), Opera de Monte-Carlo (Monaco), Lyric Opera of Kansas City (USA), The Royal Swedish opera (Stockholm), De Nederlandse Opera and Ballet (Amsterdam) and many others.
Since 2018 has decided to continue his vocal career in Russia on permanent basis and became a soloist of Musical theatre of Karelia (Petrozavodsk) where he works till now.
During years of international career worked with such conductors as: Valery Gergiev, Mariss Jansons, Mikhail Pletnev, Vladimir Spivakov, Gianandrea Noseda, Pietro Rizzo, Marco Armiliato, Donald Runnicles, Josep Pons, Gintaras Rinkevicius, Gabriel Felz, Andrey Yurkevitch, Marc Albrecht, James Conlon and others.
Among the roles are Hermann (The Queen of spades), Vaudemont (Iolanta), Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Yuri (The Enchantress), Otello (Otello), Riccardo (Un Ballo in Maschera), Alfredo (La Traviata), Alvaro (La Forza del Destino), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Luigi (Il Tabarro), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), The Prince (Rusalka), Don Jose (Carmen), Turridu (Cavalleria rusticana), Samson (Samson e Dalila), Canio (I Pagliacci) and many others.
