The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra’s grand season opening of the concert season, led by Chief Conductor Gabriel Feltz, will be held on September 27th (Kolarac Hall, 7 PM). The first concert of the season, titled Amadeus, Amadeus! will be dedicated to the memory of late Ivan Tasovac. The Belgrade Philharmonic is preparing a unique five-hour marathon featuring one of the greatest musical geniuses of all time—Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Renowned pianist Jasminka Stančul will join the orchestra as the soloist.

Entering a new era, the Belgrade Philharmonic continues with the 2024/25 season To the Last Bar with some of Mozart’s most beautiful compositions, which the musicians of the orchestra will perform to their last breath. The marathon kicks off with the sounds of Serenade in B-flat major (Gran Partita), followed by the two of Mozart’s most celebrated symphonies – Prague and Jupiter, as a treat for all symphony lovers. Jasminka Stančul, Austrian pianist of Serbian descent and a regular guest of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform the thrilling Piano Concerto in D minor. The night will conclude with a countdown to midnight with the iconic Eine kleine Nachtmusik and Serenata notturna.

In his 35 years of life, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart left behind an invaluable musical legacy that continues to bring joy to performers and audiences alike. Alongside the proven musical “marathon man” Gabriel Feltz, the audience will have the chance to enjoy Mozart’s masterpieces from 7 PM until almost midnight, with three intermissions between the performances.

The grand opening of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra’s season are is a sold-out event, however standing-room tickets will be available for purchase an hour before the concert, starting at 6 PM at the Kolarac box office.
